A unique quote, made by a strange lady...

While reading the Alchemist, I came across a rather interesting quote: "It's the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary." It got me thinking about simple things I do in my own life:going for a walk, visiting the mountains, sitting down to relax after a long day, the list goes on. But why are these simple moments so extraordinary? Is it because I take these moments for granted, or because I do them so often I have forgotten the "extraordinaryness" within the moment. Perhaps it is because it is because I never took the time to examine the true beauty of the moment.Today when I went on my usual walk, I became, I became rather observant of my surrounding. The first thing I took notice of the chirps and tweets of the birds flying above me. It was beautiful joyful tune, that I would never hear  again. My walk at that time would never be the same, so the logical thing to do would be to be to take in the experience with its full potential. Maybe because the simple things in life are constantly changing, never to be the same again.
